Thought this was a post worth adding as Mississippi Mondays post for this week. I watched the TV shows he was on and found him to be a funny actor. I didn’t know he was from Mississippi until reading the article.

Both interesting shows. I was young and probably missed some of the nuances that were geared toward adults.

I definitely missed all nuances :). I was 11 years old, visiting the US from Australia and had not seen colour television before. Colour television only came to Australia in 1975 and this was the early 70s.

I watched in black and white as a color TV was above my parents’ budget. I later saw it in color on one of the cable channels.
