A few days ago we posted Pray for a Persecuted Church Right now. Just as a quick update all the pastors are released from government detention.

Glad they have been released. I will keep the pastors and their congregations in my prayers.

    • You are welcome. I think it’s important to pray for those who are in places where preaching or attending worship services put them at risk. Sadly, I can see that happening in this country in the near future.

My pastor’s wife’s grandparents smuggled Bibles into Eastern Europe and the U.S.S.R. during the Cold War. They were never caught and often had to attend services in people’s homes in those countries due to the crackdown of the time.
