Update to earlier post – First Visit with New Optometrist – May 7, 2021. The optometrist office called me today and said my first appointment with the cataract surgeon is July 6, a Tuesday. I still haven’t back from the surgeon’s office if they take my two forms of medical insurance. I double checked the address as it’s a block north of where I thought it would be. No word on how fast after the first appointment that my surgery will be. It’s outpatient so I will be out shortly after the surgery is completed. They usually wait for me to wake up and be steady enough before letting me go.
I am not concerned as this surgery is done on a regular basis. I have looked up what to do after the surgery and made a list of things to do and not do after the surgery. If you wind up having cataract surgery, most search engines cover what to do and not do after surgery.
I think there’s a point about me getting a cataract now. I haven’t figured out what the point is, but am praying that I can realize what I need to learn from having the cataract and the surgery.
