I belong to numerous Facebook groups. Many have similar names. In terms of rules, the groups can vary greatly from no or few rules to lots of rules. Case in point some have no links allowed. Others have you can have photos, but not in the first post. You create post 1 without the photo, then create the photo in replying to first post.
With some groups, they create a rule book document you have to read which may be many pages long.
Some groups require to answer questions before you can join. Sometimes these are group specific. Simple web search can often turn up the answers. In other cases, I don’t have a favorite book, author, movie, or TV series or episode.
In other examples, the group is specific to a certain thing. Some Star Trek groups are only for one TV series. Dare to mention another Star Trek series and risk getting banned.
It gets hard to keep track of what isn’t and is allowed in a group. I cut out some groups due to being too restrictive.
