Didn’t Do Any Black Friday Shopping – November 27, 2020

I didn’t have too much extra money and from what I read in the local newspaper, Black Friday was a bust locally in person. A lot of people did what I have been doing for several years – online shopping. I know some stores will deliver to you, like Wal-Mart if you have the Wal-Mart+ deal, it’s unlimited free shipping if you order $35 minimum at a time.

The closest I came to Black Friday shopping was last week. I ordered two cans of Liquid Wrench from Amazon as I was getting low on it for my bicycle. It was supposed to be delivered on Monday, but I noticed last night it made it to Wichita and this morning it was sent out for delivery. I don’t know how big the package is, but hopefully they put it inside the door if it’s too big to fit in the mailbox. The can I have is about the size of a regular can of WD-40, maybe a little bit taller, and I expect the cans I ordered are about the same size. It’s great for keeping my bike chain rust-free.

Yesterday, I spent most of the day at home, hibernating under blankets. I went out once to a convenience store to get some snacks. I read other bloggers and read Facebook posts. I did a lot of praying over many of the posts I read. Many were going through rough times for various reasons. It was a very blessed day for me.
