Mimicking nature in your cup — Suzassippi’s Lottabusha County Chronicles

Sometimes I notice how colors and textures to which I am drawn are the same as those that draw my attention in nature. While making tea this morning, I decided on Himalayan Golden Tips, and chose the Peach Lustre tea cup and saucer. The tea itself undergoes a special process of preparation by wilting the full leaf, then rolling into shape. Mostly the bud is used, and between that and the oxidation process, the tea will unfurl into brown and golden leaves with a small amount of green evidenced after steeping.
