Chioma woke up late that day. It wasn’t because of yesterday’s events, how she saw Damola in a restaurant and he didn’t come to ask her about his son because he was with his family, or how she walked into the nearest supermarket and walked right out after hearing the price of whiskey, and spent the night crying, to sleep eventually.
