Running Bit Behind – April 28, 2022

On Tuesday, I ordered birth certificate through VitalChek. It was delivered yesterday, but I wasn’t home. I needed to sign for it. Today, it was redlivered and I stayed at home waiting for it. I dislike ordering through VitalChek in general. However, they mailed it Tuesday and said it would be yesterday. I went with that option as many government agencies have said you will need Real ID to enter those agencies down the road. I have two long and two short form birth certificates in a file cabinet. I spent several hour over several days looking for them. End rresult I didn’t find any copy of the birth certificates. Figured Plan B was to order them through VitalChek. Even with UPS $19.50 shipping, it was glad to get the copy as it arrived so fast. I decided Real ID was the way to go as my Driver’s License expires this year.
