It’s hard to believe it’s been another year. Happy Birthday Karrlita. May the coming year bring you many blessings and see you safe. Here’s my post from 2018 that details her birth: Happy Birthday to My Daughter, Karrlita 2018.
Our children grow up so fast and before you know it, they are having children of their own. She has given me two grandsons. I never asked for grandchildren as that was something her and her husband should decide.
They do grow up so fast!

I remember when she was born. My ex had back labor and they put the monitor on her that doesn’t detect back labor. The nurse said if she starts bleeding, call the doctor. Got his answering service who assured me it was normal. We were kicked out of the ER after an hour. I wasn’t familiar with crowning, but she had me look down there. I called the answering back and we rushed to the hospital, driving safely. Had the nurse look down there and she decided to keep her. Birth weight and birth date were the same – 4-14. She was 6 weeks premature. Thankfully, Keesler AFB was allowing civilian babies to be admitted although we were told if a military baby needed the bed, she was have to go. She was in Keesler for a week, then transferred back to my birth hospital. Where she stayed another 4 weeks. Would have loved to have a camera as she was rolled into the hospital, the gawkers were staring at why the military was wheeling a baby into the hospital.
