CAIRO (Reuters) – Bahrain’s foreign ministry confirmed in a statement on Saturday that an Israeli officer will be stationed in the country, according to the state news agency.
The appointment will be related to the work of an unnamed international coalition of more than 34 countries, the report said.
Bahrain also said that the coalition’s task includes securing freedom of navigation in the territorial waters of the region, protecting international trade and confronting piracy and terrorism.

Fascinating they are allowing this from Israel; this made me think about my trip to teach theology while traveling through the Middle East as a pastor, we landed in one of the Gulf states and they had forward deployed American TSA and Homeland security agents for the flight checks back to the USA. Never saw that before until then. So I imagine Israel is doing the same sort of thing for security reasons

Turns out I am Messianic Jew. Found this from my Y-DNA that is a Cohen match. Always wanted to visit Israel and hopefully I will get the chance soon.

I did the Big Y afew years back. Was surprised to see the Cohen match as I had no known Jewish in my line. However, I can’t get back to before 1830 with my Smith line as too many John Smiths in the line. I think I had extra money back in 2013 and ordered the Big Y test. As I ordered it then, they upgraded it for free to the Big-Y 700 when it became available.
