Eye Surgeon’s Office Said to Throw Away 2 of the Medicines After the First Surgery – September 18, 2021

Thankfully, I ignored the suggestion as at my last appointment earlier this week, they said I could use the 2 medicines for my next surgery. I had to use all of the third medicine until gone. End result, I only need to refill the third medicine and not the first two medicines.

I learned a long time ago to not throw away medicine if it may be useful in the near future. In this case, by not listening to their recommendation, I didn’t have to order second refills. That saved me money and saved the pharmacy from needlessly refilling the medicines. In general, if it’s a case of not needing the medicine, I will dispose of it by taking it to the pharmacy.
