For about a week, WordPress had a quirk show up. I could see the last several days fine, but then it jumped to a week earlier when I looked through Published posts. I checked earlier yesterday and the quirk was gone. It only lasted a week so it ended yesterday or the day before. I rarely check that far back so I don’t know how common this quirk is or how often it shows up. This is on top of all the other quirks I experience and some I only notice because other bloggers report them. I wonder if any blogger has a list of known WordPress quirks? One day I need to compile the ones I have experienced in a post and share it.
If some of the quirks weren’t so hit and miss, it would be one thing. There are things like the new Block Editor I don’t like, but they made it clear, it’s not going away. I do what I can to adapt to the Block Editor. In an earlier post today – Update on Chinese Rocket Crash – May 9, 2021, the copy/paste included the links without me having to add them in. I am glad it did as finding the links is a pain. I always keep the article up so I can look at where to add them.
