I was having trouble coming with a Forgiveness Sunday post unitl I realized this post was a good topic Happy Mother’s Day 2021 – May 9, 2021. I heard a sermon this morning about Exodus 20:12 which says “Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.”
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

Thought this was a great Forgiveness Sundays post as no mother is perfect. Some are nowhere near perfect, but all are humans and as such fail on a regular basis. I know some people are big on closure. However, over time I learned closure isn’t always possible. Most don’t get the concept. I figured out by watching other people as well as my own experiences that closure doesn’t happen often in real life. I learned to accept closure may not happen. Seen it with family, friends, and others. I chose to forgive people even if I don’t get closure from the person. For some, that’s a hard pill to swallow. Some recognize the value about closure not happening.
