When I purchased my TracFone from HSN last month, I was told it came with two subscriptions that I had to cancel or they would auto-renew. Near as I can tell, neither has been activated as neither showed up in the subscription service for the two services. I will double-check with Pandora when I have access on my laptop. From my phone, it doesn’t show an option to switch subscription. Lifetime Movie Club verified I don’t have a paid subscription with them. On the off-chance, I get bill in 2 1/2 months by either company, I will lose the e-mails from one or both companies showing I don’t have subscriptions to get a refund. I hope that won’t be needed. However, I will check with my financial institution on the off-chance the companies were mistaken in their belief or e-mail responses.
Having dealt with companies over the years, I recognize that sometimes different departments don’t communicate with each other. This leads to errors. With a dental company, Department A didn’t forward to Department B that I had dental insurance with another company. Worse, they wrongly assumed I had dental insurance through a company I previously used. I need to follow up to make sure they figured it out as I haven’t heard from them in a while. I haven’t heard from them, but I want to make sure they have the right insurance company before I schedule a dental appointment.
