Schedule Post Quirks – March 20, 2021

I know many don’t schedule posts. I regularly schedule posts. For those who don’t schedule posts, it’s a two part process. First, you pick a date and time. You choose schedule. Next, you have to verify a second time the date, time, and other things are correct.

As my posts are scheduled with very rare exceptions these days, I rarely verify the schedule date and time happens for things today. For things posted later in the week, I do. Often, my daily YouTube videos are scheduled up to a week early. I check those to make sure I haven’t double scheduled two for the same date and time.

Earlier today, I scheduled a post and did the two schedule verification. Went looking for a draft I was working on. Found the scheduled post in the Drafts folder even though it had a scheduled date later today.

It’s rare, but slightly more common on my phone. It happens on my laptop, but less common there.

On my laptop, a different quirk happens on a regular basis, I choose hour, then tab to minute. It always changes it from AM or PM to the other. It doesn’t always show the change. I always save and check as it rarely saves the correct AM or PM option. Occasionally, it does.

Those few times I’ve scheduled posts it got funky; normally write it at the moment. Thanks for sharing.
