Mississippi House of Representatives Approve the New State Flag – January 5, 2021

As mentioned in an earlier post –Mississippi Flag Commission Ballot Results – November 4, 2020 I reported the State Legislature had to approve the new flag. I noticed yesterday the House of Representatives had approved the bill https://www.wtok.com/2021/01/05/watch-miss-legislators-begin-their-2021-session-tuesday/. It goes to the Senate where they will approve it. It looks like a ceremony will be held this week once the bill gets approved. It was House Bill 1 for 2021.

I will post a link once the ceremony is held, probably to one of the local TV stations in the area.
