I decided to focus on Dante Labs – https://www.dantelabs.com/ for this week’s DNA Saturdays post. I covered them last month – Dante Labs – DNA Saturdays November 7, 2020. They are currently running a discount special of $340 discount: Whole Genome Sequencing Test for the $599 kit (use Promo Code CHRISTMAS2020) and the same $340 discount promo code for the $849 kit. No end date listed; still valid as of December 19, 2020. The recommended minimum is a 30X Read for medical and health reports. In my earlier post from November, I mentioned some issues to be aware of when testing with Dante Labs. In general most of the time Whole Genome Sequencing runs a lot higher than these prices. On Sequencing.com – https://sequencing.com/order/holiday-supersale/genome-sequencing-kit?quantity=1 (not an affiliate link), it’s on sale for $359, regular price $799. With some DNA companies, it can run $1,000 and sometimes a lot more. There are several companies that offer Whole Genome Sequencing tests. Some DNA companies offer a 15X Read test, but as I noted above, it needs to be a 30X Read or higher for medical and health reports.
Dante Labs has offered similar prices before for year-end sales and sometimes cheaper prices for Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales.
