On Again, Off Again WordPress Quirk – November 30, 2020

This WordPress quirk used to mostly happen on my phone, but it’s happening a lot on my laptop in two different versions. Both are when I open the Posts tab: 1) it shows zero posts in any of the tabs – Posted, Draft, Scheduled, Trash. 2) It shows posts in each tab, but when I click on them, it shows no posts found even though it shows the right amount of posts in each tab.

This is getting to be a regular habit instead of an occasional annoyance. Usually refreshing several times will solve the problem. It doesn’t help that my Internet café speed is sometimes very slow. The speed has its moments when it’s very fast and times when it’s super slow. Most of the time it tends to be somewhat fast. I have access to a faster Internet connection nearby, but if I use it too much, I get a broken ethernet connection that I have to run the Windows diagnostic on, tell it to fix it, let it tell me it’s not fixable, then restart the computer and that usually lets me open the Internet café connection again. It’s a weird issue. I need a new or gently used laptop as that would probably solve the issue with the broken Ethernet connection that isn’t broken.
