Forgiveness is not about the other person. It’s about you. I have made the point a number of times, but it’s up to you if you choose to forgive others. Here’s a good Bible verse about forgiveness – Ephesians 4:32.
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

The Bible is clear that forgiving others is something we should do. Jesus Christ was born to bring forgiveness to humanity, and a way to bridge the gulf between God and us. I know a lot people don’t believe in Jesus, but one day everyone will. I am not one of the people that claims God will forgive everyone as some denominations claim. God offers forgiveness to everyone, but you have to accept Christ to receive forgiveness.
