Andy Griffith Museum, Mount Airy – North Carolina Thursdays November 26, 2020

For this week’s North Carolina Thursdays post, I decided to look around Surry County. There were a few places that looked interesting. I went with Andy Griffith Museum in Mount Airy – However, check about COVID-19 restrictions before scheduling a visit. Here are the restrictions from the website:

The Andy Griffith Museum Gift Shop and the Old-Time Music Heritage Hall Gift Shop and selected areas are open. Plexiglass shields have been installed in both retail spaces. Spaces that are not open to patrons in these venues include the mezzanine and balcony at the Historic Earle Theatre, the Andy Griffith Museum Theatre (mural) and the Andy Griffith Playhouse. Admission to each venue will continue to be kept at 50%. Face masks are mandatory. Face masks for both adults and children are on sale at each location if folks arrive without face covering and wish to enter.

Thought this was an appropriate choice for Thanksgiving Day. I previously covered this museum in this post – Andy Griffith Museum – Mount Airy, North Carolina, but not as a North Carolina Thursdays post. I also included some links that weren’t in the earlier post.
