MREs…oh man, I miss many things from the Marines but I sure don’t miss those food!

Never tried them as I was 4-F due to bad eyes. Tried to join the Air Force and 2 years later, the Army. Thought it was odd I still had to register for Selective Service after getting denied twice.

Yes. I knew the doctors at the NAS in New Orleans did everything they could do to get the eyeglasses issue. I was the last person to see the recruiters and I knew then, I didn’t pass. Funny thing is they were bragging about how noone had been turned down today. Hated to bust their bubble.
