I remember when you had sites come out with Black Friday and Cyber Monday ads early, many of the major chains were upset. These days, they leak the ads to various sites as they realized the benefit of leaking the ads early. Here’s one website – https://blackfriday.com/ads/black-friday and their Cyber Monday ads – https://blackfriday.com/ads/cyber-monday; not many Cyber Monday sales for 2020 yet. There are several other sites that show Black Friday / Cyber Mondays ads.
Personally, I appreciate the leaked ads as it lets me know what’s coming up in the sales. That way if I need to save up money for something, I know how much I need to save. Likewise, if I need to get a replacement item, I know how much it will cost during the sale.
Some chains don’t release the details so those are hit or miss. From my standpoint, that hurts your brand or product as you are not disclosing the deals early. Most of the companies that do this are not companies I can afford to buy their products unless the sale was exceptional. Much of the time, the sales are not exceptional enough for me.
I checked through some of the ads as there are things I need, but many of them are out of reach unless another stimulus check deal arrives in the near future. Unfortunately, I think both sides are out of touch with reality on reaching another stimulus deal. The Problem Solvers Caucus bill that Speaker Pelosi won’t bring to a House vote is the best choice out there. It includes a second check in March if the economy hasn’t recovered by then.
