I last updated my friend’s pregnancy in this post – Update on My Friend’s Pregnancy – July 10, 2020. Today, her husband is driving her to Kansas City, Missouri (KCMO) and the doctor will induce labor tomorrow. She’s not due for a couple of more weeks, but since one twin has been having problems for months, the doctor decided to induce sooner. It’s roughly a several hour drive. They will be staying overnight with the induction occurring early in the morning. The local doctor here preferred she had the babies in KCMO as they are better equipped to handle the procedure and any complications that may arise. I have kept them in my prayers ever since hearing the news. I will update again once I have news. Tomorrow is also her youngest son’s birthday.

The boy twin still has a tumor in his heart, but they monitor it on a regular basis. They recommended chemo to remove it, but the parents opted to let it stay for now. As he grows, the tumor size will be less of an issue as it won’t grow and in comparison, his heart will get larger.
