When Is Batman Day? Depends on Your Source – September 19, 2020

I saw a post by another blogger about today being Batman Day. I typed in Batman Day 2020 and found three dates for Batman Day – September 21 – https://nationaltoday.com/batman-day/, September 19 – https://www.dccomics.com/BatmanDay, and September 15 – https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/batman-day/. I know the last link shows September 19, but in my least favorite search engine, it showed September 15 in the blurb for the Days of the Year link:

Why is Sept 15th Batman day? The purpose of Batman Day is to celebrate the anniversary of the character’s first ever appearance, which was in Detective Comics #27 way back in May 1939. … Do you possess some Batman-related comic books, video games or DVDs?
