UPDATE – JOVIAN CHRONICLES
Chronicles Volume 2 is new in our revived March 2018 Jovian Chronicles Bundle featuring the Dream Pod 9 SFRPG of the 23rd-Century Solar System on the brink of war. Like Volume 1 (already in this offer’s Bonus Collection), this full-color 200-page compendium presents 432 additional pieces: cover art, action scenes, spaceship technical views, characters, exo-armors, spacecraft, vehicles, spacecraft interior views, and cover logos.
If you’ve already purchased this Jovian Chronicles revival — either recently or during its original March 2018 run — check your Wizard’s Cabinet download page on the Bundle of Holding site, so our system can add The Art of Jovian Chronicles Volume 2 to your DriveThruRPG Library.
A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON DIGITAL TABLETOP PLAY
Alex Drummond has worked on movies (Thor: Ragnarok), video games (Warhammer 40,000 Conquest), and board games (Dominion). His clients include Catalyst Game Labs, Fantasy Flight, AEG, Rare, THQ, Double Helix, Microsoft, Universal Pictures, and others. In 2004 Alex and his wife, Jenna, founded WarDrumRPG to publish the Epic Isometric line of digital art assets for tabletop RPGs. Hand-drawn in a consistent three-quarter perspective, these graphics files are transparent monochrome .PNGs compatible with all photo-editing programs and virtual tabletops like Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, MapTool, Astral, Foundry VTT, and others. Color these images or import them as-is to your preferred platform, and use them to create your own adventures.
This all-new Epic Isometric Bundle presents a strong selection of WarDrum’s digital art packs for a bargain price. Pay just US$7.95 to get all three packs in our Starter Collection (retail value $35), including the essential Epic Isometric Core Set, Hero Pack 1, and the free Halloween Special Edition promotional set.
And if you pay more than the threshold (average) price, which is set at $19.95 to start, you’ll level up and also get our entire Bonus Collection with four more packs worth an additional $44, including Monster Packs 1 and 2, the Prop Pack, and Patreon Season 1 — a big collection of eight themed hero/villain packs funded by WardrumRPG’s Patreon campaign.
Ten percent of your payment (after gateway fees) goes to this offer’s pandemic-related charity, Direct Relief. Direct Relief gets protective gear and critical care medications to health workers, with emergency deliveries to medical facilities across the US and to regional response agencies across the world.
Get a new perspective on your virtual RPGs with the Epic Isometric Bundle. This offer ends Monday, October 5.
Fudge, the precursor of Fate, is a customizable toolkit that supports every setting you can imagine. Its word-based trait scale and simple action resolution make it ideal for novices and flexible enough to satisfy experienced roleplayers. Fudge is historically important, too, as one of the first rules systems released under an open game license. [The name “FUDGE” was once an acronym for Freeform Universal Donated (later, Do-it-yourself) Gaming Engine and, though the acronym has since been dropped, that phrase remains a good summation of the game’s design goals.]
The Fudge rules adapt easily to any other RPG’s campaign world — and, of course, to your own creations. As Gamemaster, you choose attributes and skills that match the genre and play style. A simple Fudge game might get by with only two attributes, or dispense with attributes entirely and define abilities by skills, gifts, and faults. Or you might want six attributes, or ten, or more. The skill-driven system supports broadly defined skill groups or fine-grained individual skills, or mix-and-match as you like.
Task resolution uses normal six-sided dice — or, optionally, special Fudge Dice — to determine how well characters perform any action. Results describe degrees of success or failure in words — from Superb down to Terrible. Alternative rules allow d20s or percentile dice. The word-based system lets you easily translate any campaign world or adventure written in Fudge into any other system, and vice versa. As a “universal translator” of gaming systems, and released under the Open Gaming License, Fudge can provide an excellent foundation for any game designer.
This bargain-priced offer marks the debut in .PDF of several Fudge-based titles that are not yet available anywhere else. Pay just US$12.95 to get all five complete games in our Starter Collection (retail value $69) as DRM-free .PDF ebooks:
- The comprehensive 318-page Fudge 10th Anniversary Edition rulebook, debuting in .PDF in this offer.
- Psi-punk: Cyberpunk meets psionics in this alternate world of ghosts, psiborgs, technomancers, and soul jackers. (Previously in our February 2015 IGDN Bundle.)
- Hack-n-Slash, a low-prep dungeon-crawl RPG you can be up and playing in minutes. Includes the Hack-n-Slash GM Screen.
- The Orb, a colorful fantasy RPG with expanded rules for magic and miracles.
- Survival of the Able, a haunting horror adventure of disability and hope in a worldwide pandemic — of zombies.
And if you pay more than the threshold (average) price, which is set at $24.95 to start, you’ll level up and also get our entire Bonus Collection with seven more titles worth an additional $97:
- The Deryni Adventure Game: Based on the long-running Deryni novel series by Katherine Kurtz, this 2005 RPG of feudal politics and ritual magic debuts in .PDF in this offer. Includes the full-color “Eleven Kingdoms” Deryni world map.
- Terra Incognita: Globetrotting Victorian adventurer-researchers discover secrets of the trackless unknown — and then hide them.
- The Unexplained: The truth is out there in this modern-day RPG of investigating paranormal phenomena just like on cable TV. Includes The Unexplained Storyteller’s Screen.
- Now Playing: Create, cast, and produce your own episodes of any kind of TV series from science-fiction epics to sitcoms to reality shows. Includes the full-length adventure Ghosts of the Lady Grace.
Ten percent of your payment (after gateway fees) goes to this Fudge offer’s pandemic-related charity, Direct Relief. Direct Relief gets protective gear and critical care medications to health workers, with emergency deliveries daily to medical facilities across the US and to regional response agencies across the world.
Get this Fudge offer before it’s eaten away Monday, September 28.
