Review: “Mulan” (2020) — Cinema Spotlight

What a waste of $30. Review: “Mulan” (2020) — Cinema Spotlight.

I haven’t seen the original or this re-make. I have noticed a wide variety of reviews ranging from this one to the extreme opposite. I wouldn’t have spent the extra money to view early, but I also don’t have DisneyPlus. • Not sure, but seen enough bad reviews from people who watched it that make it sound like it could have been much better. I ignore professional movie critics as they are often have a vested interest in not giving bad reviews. I watched Dr. Doolittle 2, but read a local critic who said the bathroom humor wasn’t that bad about 5 minutes before I saw the movie. In my opinion, I don’t what movie he watched, but from my perspective, the bathroom humor was a lot worse than the first one.

From what I read, in terms of box office and Video on Demand, it didn’t do too well. Far short of the cost of making the movie as Disney has been quiet on the release. If it made as much as one person claimed, I am sure Disney would be highlighting it much more.
