I think TribeCode: https://www.tribecode.com/ had great potential as a DNA company, but they blew it early on. The tests are done by TeloYears: https://www.teloyears.com/home/. They offer several testing choices – Health Only ($89.00 or $99.00 regular price), Advanced Ancestry ($89.00 or $99.00 regular price), TeloYears + Ancestry (regular price $199.00, but on sale for $149.00). TribeCode is run by the parent company of TeloYears – Centrillion Technologies, Inc. From the ISOGG Wiki article on Centrillion: https://isogg.org/wiki/Centrillion_Bioscience, as it looks at least 12 million markers. That’s a lot for the price. Compared to the 500K to 900K offered by the regular DNA companies, it’s a sizeable difference. It includes Y-DNA and mtDNA haplogroups. The question is how deep is the test? The concern is it is low coverage testing. See the article by Blaine Bettinger when he purchased the kit in 2015 – https://thegeneticgenealogist.com/2015/08/01/a-review-of-tribecode-by-centrillion-biosciences/.
