Sorry for your loss. I used to get comic books back when they were cheap.

Wished it wasn’t so expensive!

Not sure if e-comic books are an option, but they should be somewhat cheaper if they are available. Sometimes you can go to a used bookstore or comic bookstore and find used ones cheaper.

They do have comics on kindle that I borrow from the library

That’s cool. I need to do that, but have to order a new library card as I lost mine. Think it’s $5 to replace it as I can do a lot from home thanks to the pandemic. The library has the Academic/Library edition of Ancestry and normally you have to be at the library to access it. Since the library is closed to visitors, Ancestry has allowed people to access it from home temporarily.

I imagine you are doing Research at home through Ancestry?

I would be, but I need a new library card. I gave up paid Ancestry a long time ago. They made it impossible to access Ancestry and admitted it was their fault, but wouldn’t credit or refund me for 3 1/2 months of paid service when I couldn’t access their website.
I am actually at my favorite Internet cafe as my home Internet is restricted to my cell phone and it tends to be 2G most of the month. They are moving a library branch close to the cafe at some point. It’s still where the old branch is for now. They were remodeling a building for the move, but as the library is closed due to the pandemic, they have been taking their time moving it. Once they move it and it opens back up, I will spend a decent amount of time there as I can use my laptop to access Ancestry and certain other sites without being a paid member.

You are welcome. It’s been a challenge, but I am hoping the Lord will provide a way to move to a warmer state. Under normal circumstances, I could apply for an AmeriCorps position and if accepted, they would pay for the move. With things the way they are now, that’s harder to do. If I got a position in my hometown, my sister may let me stay with her for a bit. It’s gotten so expensive to live there because casinos moved in about 18 years ago.
