Some WordPress Editor Quirks – August 21, 2020

When I hit re-blog on the WordPress Reader on rare occasions, it opens a blank post with not title instead of having the title and the small snippet of the text and a picture if the original post had a photo. It doesn’t happen that often so far, but it’s clear something needs fixing or improving by the Happy Engineers.

On top of that, there’s the occasional inability of me to use the copy post feature when I am wanting to copy an earlier post of mine. This comes in handy when I am doing certain theme posts, like the state ones. Or if I am doing something about museums or cemeteries. This is an intermittent bug that hasn’t happened too often so far.

Both of these bugs aren’t repeatable on demand as they are sporadic in nature. They usually don’t last long when they show up. It would be nice if I could create a block with multiple paragraphs instead of each paragraph being a new block. I have sometimes been able to create this doing a copy/paste from another website into a post I copied. At other times, it doesn’t work.
