Keeping Those in Beirut Affected by the Explosions in Prayers – August 4, 2020

There were several explosions in Beirut earlier today. Contrary to some early reports, the explosions were not nuclear in nature. Apparently a large enough non-nuclear explosion can cause a mushroom cloud effect. My prayers are with those affected by the explosions. There are various theories on what caused the explosions. At this point, I think it’s important to get help to those who are injured, including any trapped in the debris. There are a minimum of 78 dead, over 4,000 injured, and that’s not counting those who may be buried or injured in the collapsed buildings.
