One of my personal rules is not to interfere with someone grieving when I take photographs; in those cases, I will either go to a different section of the cemetery, or if it’s a small cemetery, then I will wait or come back later. If it looks like they need help locating a grave, most of the cemeteries I visit have online maps although many don’t have cemetery offices. I have a a list of the various locations at most of the cemeteries if they know the plot or section number, I can direct them to it. If I or another person have taken a photo with the BillionGraves app, I can pull up the location using GPS on my phone.
