About 17 years ago, I was assigned to a new team that was formed to review a test project. It was one of two test projects being reviewed by the national agency. Eventually, the other project was adopted nationwide. It was a better program.
I was assured my name would be attached to the project. It wasn’t, but that turned out to be a good thing. People whose names were attached to the project found getting promoted became much harder. It wasn’t impossible to be promoted, but it was a lot more difficult.
