WordPress Discover Prompts April 2020 Day #22 Tempo

Today’s discover prompt is Tempo.

From my earlier post – Join Our Discover Daily Prompts in April! — The Daily Post  which has more details on the discover prompts. A search showed today’s prompt is Tempo.

This was a bit more difficult than I imagined. I have previously talked about suffering from Bipolar Depression I, mixed states, ultra ultra rapid cycling. I have several states: depression, neither depressed nor manic, manic, or depressed and manic at the same time. Within the states involving depressed and/or manic, they can range from minimal to extreme.  In terms of where both depressed and manic states are occurring at the same time,  they aren’t necessarily occurring at the same levels although in some cases they could be at the same level. One could be extreme and the other could be minimal.

Depending on the state as to what tempo I am operating at. If I am hypermanic, my tempo may be very fast. If I am severely depressed, my tempo will be very slow. If I am operating at two different tempos due one state being minimal and the other state being extreme, it’s like a car in neutral with the engine racing but going nowhere.

If the above sounds confusing, be glad if you aren’t living it. It’s tiring for me and can be for those around me at times.
