I noticed this a few minutes ago, after I scheduled my 2:02 post went live Devin Carroll video. In his video, he states it is for non-filers only. A fair number of filers opt for paper checks. He provides the link to the IRS notice https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/non-filers-enter-payment-info-here.

You are welcome. I thought it was important to get out as soon as possible. I rescheduled the post for the time slot to the next time slot.
While the link is for those who don’t file, about 20% of filers don’t use direct deposit and would receive a paper check which will delay getting the money.
On direct deposit, it can take a few days from the time the IRS sends it and a financial institution gets the money and puts it in your account. For a paper check, they can only print so many per day,

A small number of people have received notice for a direct deposit on April 15th. They usually do it in batches to avoid overwhelming employees and computer systems.

You are welcome.
I am waiting for it as I would like to add home Internet, get a decent cheap laptop, and a few other things. Posting mostly from my phone is difficult and time consuming.
