My Many Families – March 23, 2020

I have numerous families. Starting with my first family – my birth family. I include siblings and their children of my direct ancestors; any step and half relatives. My next family is my church family. This includes churches I used to attend that are not that close geographically. My next family is friends and classmates, ranging from 1st – 12th Grade and the various colleges I attended over the years. My next family is my social media family, including bloggers and vloggers. Some of these families are part of more than one family. My friends and classmates are usually part of my Facebook and/or Twitter family. Some of the blogger/vlogger family members have other social media accounts I follow.

I care about each member of my various families. I celebrate their victories and mourn with them when a loved one passes away. When they are going through tough times, I add them to my prayer list. That applies when they are going through times less tough. If I know someone has a particular need or prayer request, I add it to my list. If anyone has a special request they don’t wanted shared publicly, you can use my I check my Facebook and Twitter message systems on a regular basis. And I am familiar with what used to be called the Other folder on Facebook. If you have my e-mail address, I check it and its Spam folder multiple times/day.

You  can also post something in the Comments section and request I delete it since I have to approve all Comments. I check the Spam folder in WordPress as occasionally a non-Spam gets sent there.

    • You are welcome. If it wasn’t for people praying for me over the years, I would be in bad shape.

One thing I like about my Internet cafe is there are regulars who come here, but also I sometimes hear non-regulars who mention personal issues. Considering my severe hearing loss, it’s a miracle I hear those. The cafe is also on an ambulance route so I pray for the ambulance crews and the people they are responding to. I don’t know the needs, but the Lord does. Sometimes the Lord will put someone on my heart that I haven’t thought about in years. When that happens, I say a prayer for them as think there’s a reason the person came to my mind.
