  1. Ha! I don’t have the patience! But maybe I should start and take the time to build a model or some sort. I think it could only be a good thing. Thank you for the idea!

    • You are welcome.

      I don’t have the painting skill. When I was young, my middle brother would put together the models and paint them for me. My painting attempts always looked like something scary thing from a really low-budget horror flick.

      If I were to try, I would have to go with a much larger model like the 1/25 scale cars or 1/48 plane models. I would paint the individual pieces before gluing them together as I figure that would limit how much I could mess up.

      I have friends who find painting things like this very relaxing. Some paint the 15 – 28 mm models which are smaller than the model in the photo.

    • There are some good YouTube videos out there on painting miniatures and models.

      Note to self, if I remember, should post a few different YouTubers who are good at it.

      I have a USS Hornet with the Doolittle Raiders I bought years ago that I never painted. Not sure where I put it, but will look for it when the temperature gets warmer.
