I went to Scheduled posts on WordPress about 45 minutes ago and saw this post as the first one – Mythological Creature; The Arkan Sonney, a magical hedgehog from the Isle of Man — ARJung. This post showed as being published in late October 2019, but it was the first post showing up. All the posts underneath it were actually Scheduled posts that have not been posted. This was on my laptop as I am used to a lot more mistakes on my phones when i use the WordPress app or my phones’ browsers to access WordPress. No telling in how long it will show up there, but I think some weird temporary glitch will be the cause and it will resolve on its own. It took about 30 minutes before the above post disappeared from my Scheduled posts list.
WordPress mistakes happen more often on my phones, but I do get the occasional ones on my laptop. They tend to be less humorous than the above glitch. Most of the time, it’s WordPress, app or browser, being hours – days behind on what I have posted, scheduled, or have in my Drafts folder. It can take hours before it catches up. Yesterday, I had a scheduled post where it looked like the V was missing from Visit – Visit Manhattan, Kansas’ AZA-Accredited Sunset Zoo! – Vimeo Video Sunset Zoo. It wasn’t, but WordPress only showed the title starting as isit and not Visit.
It’s a pain on the missing published, draft and scheduled posts as I have no way to know what’s missing if I haven’t finished scheduling for the day in advance. A similar thing happens when I schedule a post and WordPress decides at the last minute, it should post now. That’s somewhat rare, but happens about as often as missing posts – WordPress Ate My Article! Too much truth or? What? I see my article, but I can’t see the post on my WP Desktop… oofta! — THE MAD CHATTER.
