Misophonia – Update to Last Post February 6, 2020

I added the following information to my last post – Nails on Chalkboard — Brothers’ Campfire; original post – https://brotherscampfire.com/nails-on-chalkboard/.

I am not downplaying his problem with this noise. There is a symptom or condition that causes a person to dislike certain sounds – Misophonia – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misophonia.

I could not remember the name of the condition when I re-blogged the post. I have known quite a few people that dislike or hate certain noises. I dislike the sound of nails on chalkboards. The sounds can vary widely between individuals and the level of dislike or hatred also varies between people, but many of the sounds are related to the mouth (see Wikipedia article above).
