The best friend admitted to his part, is in jail for an unrelated charge, and has been cooperating with the prosecutors including the location of the body.

In a response to a comment on this post – Black Widows Murders – Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction – October 18, 2019, I got to thinking about a case from a while back that I had not checked on in years. I went looking and found this update from 2018 – Indictment: Missing Florida man killed by wife, best friend in insurance fraud scheme; was not eaten by alligators: https://abc7chicago.com/indictment-florida-man-missing-17-years-killed-by-wife-best-friend;-was-not-eaten-by-alligators/3454570/.

The Wikipedia article – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Jerry_Michael_Williams. Looks like the Wikipedia link needs updating.

    • If you think that one was bad, it’s small potatoes compared to the Idaho woman with two missing children who claims to be a re-incarnated god and her fifth husband claims to be a prophet. I am not saying they had anything to do with the suspicious deaths, but his last wife died a couple of weeks before he married the next wife. Her 4th husband was killed by her brother, claiming self-defense, shortly after the brother dies of a heart attack. Husband #3 died in 2018 of a heart attack. Several others have died of heart attacks. Two have been exhumed after the events unfolded about the missing children. The couple belong to a doomsday group that claims July 2020 is when the world ends with the return of Jesus. I believe the two children are dead. Neither has been seen since September 2019 and former members of the group have admitted members have killed adults and children who got in their way. Husband #4 stated in his divorce paperwork that she threatened to have him killed if he got in her way. For some reason, he went over to her place without police escort and that’s when the brother killed him.
