Photo Credit: Facebook by Herbert A. Ellovido I did not even know that Tall Volcano is erupting today until my friend GPCox of Pacific Paratrooper told me. Thanks GP. Please pray for all those affected by its fury. I then took a look at the news and this is what I found. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-philippines-volcano-taal/small-but-dangerous-volcano-spews-ash-over-philippine-capital-idUSKBN1ZB07K I called […]

I have a Facebook friend who lives near this volcano. Her posts show ash landing in her yard.

    • From my Facebook friend, she describes it in similar terms. Her family opted to stay and so far are safe. From her comments, some who joined the mass exodus were injured due to everyone crowding the roads.

      • Staying is usually dicey. But then so is the human stampede factor.

      • True. Best to get out early to avoid the human stampede factor. When Hurricane Katrina hit back in 2005, I knew my sister would head out early as she has grandchildren. I expected my brothers to stay which is how it turned out. Both groups were safe, but it took a week before I could track my sister down. Her friend responded to a query I made to let me know everybody was safe. It was probably over 2 months before my sister got cell service working again.
