Update on the Sequencing.com $49 LivingDNA Test – January 3, 2020

As I mentioned in my earlier post – Ordered the Sequencing.com $49 DNA Test – January 1, 2020, I was going to keep you updated on progress. FYI, the $49 Sale on Sequencing is still going on – https://sequencing.com/apps/app-market when this post went live.

I will keep you updated as I go through the LivingDNA and Sequencing.com pipelines.

On January 1, 2020, the e-mail confirmation from Sequencing was 12:12 P. M. U. S. Central Time. I knew they had to submit the order to LivingDNA. I didn’t notice it until last night, but yesterday evening at 7:00 P. M., LivingDNA sent me an e-mail my kit had shipped

Good news! We have shipped your Living DNA ancestry kit, your DNA adventure has begun!

Delivery times are normally 3-7 working days within UK/USA/EU and 14-20 working days for the rest of world, unless you’ve ordered an express shipment.

We know how exciting it is to receive your kit. So we wanted to give you some easy advice before it arrives to help you get started straight away.

When you get your kit, the first thing you need to do is activate it online and set up an account. You will need to do this before you take your sample. When you open your kit, you will see a unique 12 digit activation code. You’ll need this to set your kit up online. Go to livingdna.com/activate to start this process.

You can watch our easy to follow activation video here.

Many thanks,
Customer Support Manager

I didn’t order express shipping so think it will show up somewhere between January 6 – 10, 2020. I will activate it as soon as I can. I will mail it off the next day once I get it activated.
