New Humble Bundle Offer – Cubicle 7 Adventures in Middle-Earth December 27, 2019

I mentioned a while back that Cubicle 7 – Cubicle 7 To Stop Producing The One Ring and Adventures in Middle Earth – December 4, 2019 was losing the rights to their two  Lord of the Rings Role-Playing Games (RPGs) – The One Ring (TOR) and Adventures in Middle-Earth (AiME). I posted about The One Ring (TOR) Bundles of HoldingNew Bundles of Holding – The One Ring and the One Ring Journeys RPG Bundles – December 17, 2019. Both lines were still being produced as some liked one RPG over the other one. As I posted in that link, I hoped they would add AiME to either Bundle of Holding or Humble Bundle.

I didn’t check my e-mail on Christmas Day, but when I checked an Adventures in Middle-Earth group on Facebook yesterday, I saw several posts where many AiME products were being offered at a huge discount on Humble Bundlehttps://www.humblebundle.com/books/lord-of-the-rings-5e-books (not an affiliate link). One of the main differences between Bundle of Holding and Humble Bundle is Bundle of Holding adds your purchases to DriveThru RPG (DTRPG) as well as storing them on their website. Humble Bundle only stores your purchases on their website. You can download your purchases (laptop, computer, tablet, and if you have enough space, your cell phone).

In both cases, you aren’t getting all of the TOR (the TOR exception is an older 2011 edition that was updated in 2014 and the 2014 edition is included in one of the Bundle of Holding offer) or AiME products (appears the Rohan Region Guide is the only item missing on Humble Bundle) – they are PDFs and not actual print books, but you are getting a lot of the products at a huge discount and 10% of your purchase price (after gateway fees) goes to one of two charities, depending on if you went with Bundle of Holding, Humble Bundle, or both.

For those not familiar with Humble Bundle, they typically offer three (3) price points – $1, $8, and $15. If you go with a higher price point, you get all the items that are listed at the lower price points. For example, if you bid $8 – 14.99, you get the $1 items. If you bid $15+, you get the $1 and $8 items. Sometimes they go with slightly different price points and maybe a fourth price point. You can also go above the maximum price point – $15 in this instance. In those cases, if your amount falls in the Top 10, then you can either go anonymous or choose to show a name. As of earlier today, the Top Spot is Anonymous and they gave $50.00.
