This has great potential, but they need to make sure the machine is thoroughly cleaned between uses to avoid some of the issues where DNA contamination led to the wrong people being arrested and sent to prison. Thought this was a good article for this week’s DNA Saturdays post.

Looks like they used this device – https://www.ande.com/kentucky-case-study/to process the DNA. It took around 2 hours to come up with results. Some of the machines are looking at results in 90 minutes or less.
