I saw this on YouTube – Rocket U-Boats: V-1 Missile Attack New York 1945 – YouTube Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHUCV_EDOFI (about 15:47 minutes long).

The secret German plan to bombard New York City with V-1 missiles launched from U-Boats. How close did they get?

I have read a lot of World War II, but I regularly discover things about the war I wasn’t aware of.

Here’s a bit more information: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocket_U-boat which indicates a change to V-2 rockets at some point.
