I searched yesterday for NASA stuff for today’s Space Saturdays post. I saw an article from earlier this year about a Japanese launch facility, Tanegashima Space Center, which will be what today’s post will focus on. I decided to see how many rocket launch platforms are out there. Wikipedia to the rescue: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_rocket_launch_sites.
It sounds like a beautiful place to visit. It will be closed October 20, 2019 for facility maintenance. If you plan on visiting the area, you may want to check it out.
