Japanese B-17 Squadron – YouTube Video

I saw this on YouTube yesterday – Japanese B-17 Squadron: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JR-Yx4DojKg (around 5:13 minutes long).

Here’s another article on the subject: https://www.historynet.com/japans-fleet-flying-forts.htm.

Would be interesting to know what happened to the Japanese B-17s as both the YouTube video and the article mention they disappeared and were never found.
