In Remembrance September 11, 2001

This post is dedicated to those who died on September 11, 2001 – be it at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, or the field in Pennsylvania.

When the first plane hit, I was asleep. I worked second shift and am not a morning person. I got a call from a friend, asking if I knew what had happened. I said no. She told me about a plane hitting the World Trade Center. I am not sure if this was after the second plane hit or after the towers had fallen as I was half-asleep when I received the call. She worked at the mall in a store that had TVs and it was all over the news.
