I found African American Cemeteries Online – http://africanamericancemeteries.com/ and chose it as this week’s Tombstone Tuesdays post. I saw it on FamilySearch – https://www.familysearch.org/blog/en/cemetery-crowdsourcing-websites-connect/
It only has 28 of the 50 states listed as well as Barbados and Canada. In some cases, it has a lot of information about the cemeteries in a particular state – Mississippi and North Carolina have a lot of information, Kansas not very much. Here is the site’s CEMETERIES TO BE LISTED : africanamericancemeteries.com/tolist.html. You may find many of the cemeteries on other graving sites. If you are near any of the cemeteries to be listed or the cemeteries that only have a town/city and county location, consider documenting those you can and adding them to the website.
I found this yesterday on BillionGraves – Club, Society, & Fraternity Gravestone Symbols: Part 1: http://blog.billiongraves.com/2019/08/19/club-and-fraternity-symbols-at-the-cemetery/
