As someone who rides an average of 5 miles per day on a bicycle, I am keenly aware of the risks of bicycling. I do most of my riding on sidewalks with only about 2 miles on city streets. That’s not including the times I have cross at redlights or stop signs.

For those driving, please pay attention to bicyclists. We can’t always get out of the way. For those on bicycles, please don’t do things that distract you from your surroundings.
