Here’s the latest update on the Chivalry and Sorcery Role-Playing Game (RPG) 5th Edition Kickstarter campaign – . It’s fully funded and has met all but the last two Stretch Goals.
Here is some more information. Glad to see them bringing some of the supplements back, now if they will just add a few other supplements or sourcebooks that aren’t mentioned below.:
This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Wed, July 31 2019 6:00 AM CDT.
Yes they* will be released but probably not till middle of 2020. The funds raised by reaching the stretch goals will go to funding art, layout costs and writing (for Goblinoids). If we can get them unlocked then we can source the art quicker.

We have the following projects lined up
Land of the Rising Sun 2nd Edition
SPQR (Will need rewrites according to Phil McGregor)
Search for the Son / Curse of the Casket
Duchy of Maks (Marakush Kingdom supplement)
We are also planning Vikings, Celts and Mongol sourcebooks.
That should keep us busy.
*In reference to the remaining Stretch Goals.
Land of the Rising Sun (LotRS) was the Feudal Japan version of Chivalry and Sorcery (C&S).
Shipping is NOT included in your pledge level. Shipping costs will be calculated using a pledge manager after the close of the Kickstarter campaign, and will be based on the exact products contained in your final pledge, and are therefore additional to your Kickstarter pledge. As an example, we expect approximate shipping charges for the 500-page Chivalry & Sorcery core book (estimated weight 1.65kg) to be as follows:
- United Kingdom £ 7.50
- European Union £ 12.00
- USA & Canada £ 15.00
- Australia & New Zealand £ 20.00
- Rest of World (Excluding Brazil) £ 25.00
Unfortunately, due to excessive import duties, we’re unable to ship to Brazil for this project.

Not mentioned above, but Land of the Rising Sun was feudal Japan and some of the sourcebooks also included items that did not fall into the above categories, including Celts, Mongols, and Vikings. Another sourcebook was Saurians, a lizard-like species. Arden was a map sourcebook for campaigns along the lines of Feudal England. Bireme and Galley was a sourcebook for rules on fighting ancient ship battles. Castle Plans were 25 mm fortifications plans for siege battles.
